Partnership Engagement, Progressive Agriculture Foundation

Cindy Lengel-Russ

Cindy serves as part of the Progressive Agriculture Foundation Partnership Engagement Team. Coming from a background in education, Cindy loves to see kids engaged in meaningful activities that can impact them and their families for a lifetime. Her role in partner engagements allows her to help create partnerships that elevate the program. Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in education. She now owns and operates a blueberry and tree farm with her family in Florida. From personal experience, Cindy knows the work Progressive Agriculture Safety Day program does can be life changing for kids and their families and this important work is what motivates her every day.

Frank Dowdle

Frank has degrees from Mississippi State University and the University of Florida. He is an Extension Agent with the University of Florida Cooperative Extension Service in Palm Beach County. His duties include all aspects of agricultural related safety, regulatory, compliance issues, pesticide training & testing, and coordinating Progressive Agriculture Safety Days annually for area fourth-grade students. Frank is also the current chairperson of the Progressive Agriculture Foundation Board of Directors.

Tim Roberts

Tim Roberts is a University of Tennessee Extension Agent and Agricenter International Director of Education. Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technology University in Cookeville and his Masters of Science from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He has worked in Agriculture all his life. In 1994, he joined the University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension Service as an Extension agent. In 2002, Tim joined the staff of the University of Missouri Outreach and Extension as a Natural Resources Engineering Specialist and in 2003 moved back to Tennessee, with University of Tennessee Extension in Shelby County and Agricenter International. He has been working with Progressive Agriculture Safety Days for 19 years.
